The actual WiM processes (registering/de-registering, cancellation, change of device, and transfer of device or malfunction information) are processed automatedly, consistently, securely and efficiently, the resulting changes are archived in the database of SOPTIM WIM and the corresponding EDIFACT messages are exchanged with the partners in the market via SOPTIM EDI.

SOPTIM WIM can work self-sustainingly, but in that case there is no connection to the metering data. This connection guarantees the highest-possible degree of automation. Using a combined solution, consisting of SOPTIM MDM and SOPTIM WIM, and perfectly integrated adjacent systems the required processes can be managed most efficiently.
